What is Paint Protection Film?
Our Protective Paint film is a thin, nearly invisible layer of 8 mils thick durable plastic film that is applied in custom shaped patterns activated by pressure and a special mixture of rubbing alcohol and water. The edges are then sealed with heat so that they stay locked into place and prevent peeling. Similar to the film you would use to protect your glass phone screen, it is self-healing, highly protective, removable, and acts as a real-life force field for your precious paint.
Why do I need it?
If you’re anything like us, you probably put a lot of money and TLC into your car. Why risk throwing all that away to some pesky road debris? Rid yourself of that nagging scrape-n-scratch-phobia and drive your car the way it deserves to be driven.
What are other benefits to paint protection film?
Besides looking brand new and staying protected from the hazards of the road, it will increase the value of your vehicle. When you go to trade in your vehicle, you’ll be able to remove the protection and sell your car as a vehicle with truly mint condition original paint. As you may know, flaws in the paint of your vehicle can really bring your trade value down. We want to ensure you get the most use out of your vehicle. That means, we want it protected while you use it and beautiful when you want someone else to have it.
What parts of my car can you protect?
We can protect any part of the vehicle that has paint. We can cover as much or as little of your vehicle as you desire. We provide that flexibility to allow you to customize the look and protection of your car.
How much of my car should I cover?
We have a saying in our shop: “You’ll never look back thinking that you got to much protection”. We would love to cover every vehicle from bumper to bumper, but obviously that isn’t for everyone. If it isn’t for you, we can take a look at your vehicle and discuss the areas that are most in danger of rock chips and scratches and figure out what works best for you and your budget you are looking to stay in.
I’m on a strict budget, but want the best protection available for my car. What can you do?
Many of our customers deal with this issue. We pride ourselves in being able to customize packages with a mix of Paint Protection Film and Ceramic Coatings to ensure protection for your vehicle on most budgets.
Why don’t you use cheaper tint?
We only use products that we believe in and can stand by. “Clear in a Year” tint jobs are cheap, but they are cheap for a reason. Our films are both Lifetime Warrantied films and will not fade, discolor, or distort. We want the best for our customers and would be happy to show you examples of budget tint jobs we have removed.
What about motorcycles or golf carts? Do you do those as well?
We have kits for motorcycles, so that is absolutely not a problem. Your motorcycle will be able to be covered just like a car. With golf carts, we absolutely will be able to cover them! This is a custom job, so it may take us a little time, but they will be looking Sharp before leaving our shop.
How long does the film application process usually take?
We want to ensure that every vehicle leaves the shop looking Sharp. To make sure this happens, you should expect your vehicle to stay in our care for at least a night. If you are getting bumper to bumper coverage, it may take a few days to fully install the film on every part of your car. We want to make sure that your car is protected and it doesn’t interfere with your every day life, so we will do our best to help you get any arrangements needed to ensure that as well.
Do you include any sort of warranty for your protective film?
The film we use has a 10 year warranty that allows us to replace the film we installed on your vehicle if there is reasonable damage to it or if there was a problem with our installation. We realize that we can’t always be perfect in everything we do, but it is something that we strive for. If you aren’t satisfied with your install, please contact us.
